Hey guys,
So ill start this off with my setup and such and then we can move on to the problem.
Tent- 60x60x150cm
Light- Mars hydro Pro ii 450w (175w draw)
Pots- smart pots 3 gallon
Medium- biobizz light mix soil
Nutrients- biobizz grow and bloom
Parameters...
Temperature- 19-26c
Humidity- 40-45%
Water ph- 7.6 - 7.9

Okay so let's begin with the problem.. .... I've been growing autos for about two years now, have slowly upgraded my kit from budget amazon lights and tent to some better stuff.

My first grow was a single lowryder 2 that I followed the biobizz feed schedule during, and I'm pretty sure I made the soil toxic because I had all sorts of necrosis and yellowing and dark leaves from early in flower, ended up yielding 12g dry.

The next grow was with 2 plants, mystery seeds from mephisto. I used an autoflower feed schedule for these with biobizz and still ran into issues... . Rusty spots, yellow and dying leaves, and a deep red colour on stems of most leaves by harvest (also had red stems on the lowryder grow) this was the first grow with my new tent/light/extraction and I ended up yielding 28g a plant, so 56g in total.

The next grow was the one before the one I'm running now, one plant was a mystery seed by mephisto and one was an auto kush by seedsman. Same problem again, however this time I was lighter with the feed, I followed no schedule and just slowly increased the biobizz until I reached 3ml a litre of grow and bloom. But still, yellow and dying leaves with all sorts of spots and such.... Anyway I ended with 28g a plant again, 56g total!

So to sum up, all grows so far have had yellow and dying leaves, with rust spots, small leaf growth with maybe a blueish tint to them, dark big fan leaves and all plants have had very vibrant red stems to the leaves!

My current grow is 2 mystery seeds by mephisto, one is 48 days and in full flower and the other is about 35 days and just starting flower.... Same red stems again, leaves on the older plant look as if starting to go yellow and the small leaves looking a blue tint again. I will upload pics soon for reference!

I really need some expert advice to get me out of this rut, i cant figure out what it could be because it doesn't seem to point in any one direction and there are so many contradictory opinions online I don't know whether I'm coming or going!
I only grow for personal medication because I begrudge paying the amount people are charging for some meds now days... But I need to get over the 1 ounce a plant mark to see me through till the next grow (I've seen 5 ounce plants grown under the same light as me so I'm sure its doable with the right advice)

Please help me fix this and I will be eternally grateful :)

Have you got any pics mate, your water ph sounds high to me. Maybe causing ph lockout  very hard to say without seeing anything , also sounds like some cal/mg might be needed for your grows. Start a journal would be your best bet and the good folks here will help you out the best they can  I have grown a lot of fine dope with biobizz very mild stuff that can lack a little bit in later stages of bloom from my experience with it

I struggled with biobizz light mix big time buddy.. lots of better growers than me working wonders with it on here but I just couldn't get it dialled in at all.. decided to give it a blast instead of my usual Plagron light mix.. struggled massively.. went back to plagron immediately.. different strokes for different folks.. have a go with a different brand of soil maybe :smoking:

Suuuuup, cheers for the replies people.... Just to clarify, my water is at a pH of 7.6-7.9 before adding any nutes, after nutes it's around 6.8.
However I've been using a cheap pH pen that never gave a steady reading and always moved up and down, so I never trusted it anyway... Money is an issue atm so I'm thinking of ph drops instead of a pen, not as accurate I know but I was thinking it would give me a rough enough idea when working with biobizz?
Also using drops would save me from having to buy calibration fluid, cleaning fluid and storage solution for a pen.... Can anybody recommend the drops and which particular ones?
I'll upload some pics when the girls wake up in about 5 hours.... Once again thanks for the replies!

:toke: -- sounds like a mix of things mate, but waiting on pics for proper diagnosis,... P and Ca defc. come to mind, and also remember some of the leave fading/colors is part of the maturation process, up to a point!
pH is too high going in, and the in-pot pH will not necessarily reflect what your in-going pH is,... Droppers for aquariums can work borderline okay IF they have enough resolution accuracy (must be better than 0.5+/-), but they are pretty crude and the color will be mucked up by the nutes making accurate color rendering iffy,....
