New Grower HELP i'm all itchy and shit!

nlsp, no man, I don't grow in a loft it's in my work room, in a tent all clean and yellow stuff its old fan leaves dying in late flowering... but the itch is verry similar to the one produced by fiberglass indeed, I been lucky to taste that too a few times.. Anyways you are right I don't think it is anything serious like an allergic reaction, more like an irritation.. I just did a cold(er) shower and rubbed well with a sponge the affected areas and I'm better now. Still as I said I am a bit surprised this is not more common. I'll ask my gf when she gets home if she's got one of those creams too, she has a million creams hehe

Lol women have something for everything, I swear they go by the basis "I rather have something and not need it, than not have something and need it". Anyway in that case, my bad.

had to make this my first post. i have the same prpoblem as OP the bud doesn't make me itch but as soon as i touch a fan leaf i go to itching tried changing soil, ferts everything i can think of now i just wear gloves and wrap my arms with towels when i go to tend to my plants

and of course she has it cortison cream is on my hands already, thanks for the tip man, it wasn't bad even tho it's not fiberglass the trichomes probably have a similar effect on me. not everywhere just the more sensitive skin like the back of the palm and on my forehead lol

I have a similar reaction to some nitrile gloves (the hypo-allergenic ones), if I touch them my hands burn and itch for the whole next day, even after washing. People can be allergic/hypersensitive to almost anything. Fun fact: People who are allergic to latex gloves will ALWAYS have a cross-allergy to strawberries, ALWAYS!!! Be careful and protect yourself. Glad to hear you are well stocked with creams and lotions.. :smokebuds:

does sound like a mild allergic reaction to something, possibly the nutes or what ever you feed, did you end up using any pest solutions for your earlier bug problem?
