i posted my question somewhere else but got no replies so i thought id post in the curing section...

ok i let my buds hang dry for about 2 days from theyre main branches/stems u kno what i mean :D. after the 2 days the stems were still bendy they didnt snap and the buds felt a lil dry and i know i should have let them hang longer BUT i made the mistake of cutting all the stems leaving just buds.

i put them in a glass jar but its not dry enough because in the grinder it doesnt grind just sticks and kinda tears.

so if i cant hang dry should i just leave it out to dry or what..? i dont want to degrade the bud but i want it dried! ideas?:hump::hump::hump:

Yeah bro just leave it out to dry until its how you want it and then jar it up.:smokebuds:

thanks man im going to just have them lay in the dark on a screen so they can get some air :peace:

To do the job right you need a decent Hygrometer, available for under $20 on Amazon ... if I jar them up too soon I'll dump them out on a plate and let them sit out for a couple hours ... the drying process needs to be done slowly but it needs to be done to avoid mold ... Get a hygrometer and follow the steps outlined in the curing section and you'll have a successful cure ... and what good is a grow w/o a successful cure ?

Also make sure after you have jar'd. If still showing signs of moisture I would let dry a bit or leave jars open another 6-12 hours then check. Make sure you burp the jars and let fresh air in once a twice a day if left in jars till you reach 65%rh or entering the curing stage. then just check and burp every day or so to maintain 55-60% for longterm storage. If you have problems with drying out add a boveda pack to jars. Also best to purchase a $15 hygrometer like a caliber to put in jars this way it takes the guessing out. This will make sure you dont have any mold issues.

Also check out this great thread by FD and check out post #2 from the great TBM
