I've got a single Cream of the Crop Cash Crop going that seems determined to take over the whole tent!

I'm a fan of defoliating to let the light through etc. and this plant really loves it so I'm hoping that will help slow her down but I was wondering if there is anything else that might help? Maybe switch the lights from 24/0 to 20/4 or any other handy tips?

18/6 will not slow them down. 18/6 works just as good as 20/4 so it will not slow them from growing. Your only options are to trim it down( I wouldn't recommend) or LST.

Scrog it ;) Lst it :) or Top/Pinch/Fim her :D there is so much options to train your Ladys.

Here it is from as far out as I could get a pic.

Day43.jpg

I changed the water last night to the booster stage; 15 fresh ph'd liters MagneCal+, Bloom A&B and Buddha's Tree 9/18 to an EC of 2.0. 12 hours later it's drunk 6 liters and the EC is down to 1.6 so I need to top up again ffs.

I've been doing a bit of LST with spotlamps, using a wire frame(hidden now) to spread it out a bit wider and some light weights on line to keep some branches a bit lower.

I reckon I'll have to get some of the leaves off tonight then I'll be able to see enough to do a bit more LST and I've got to do some crazy ropework to hold up the heavier branches that were LST'd, they are having trouble holding themselves up now. Hope I can remember my seamanship training lol!

Your plant is interesting. Looked up the genetics and they are the same as many WOS--nl x bb grows that many members have or had going recently.

Yours is bushier--for sure. Plus you have loads of light.

Good idea to LST. Then a few weeks before harvest when on water start stripping old fan leaves etc. You plants looks to be a high yielder and take take at least 70+ days.

Cheers

As I thought then, LST fun it is! I've always been worried about the height it might get to unscrogged but hadn't really thought width would be a problem.

Keep us posted. It is going to be big. Update with photos--never know, could be a photogenic monster!

Morning, I've put a post crop pic in my grow log, if there's a mod about could they merge this thread with my grow one please?

Bilbo.

Wanted to drop by and qualify my comment about stripping leaves. There was another thread started today and the subject was discussed.

One of our mods who has grown for 40 years feels that no leaf should be plucked due to their role in ripening.

What I did on my last grow was to take off some old fan leaves towards day 10 or so. Then, I strip it down further, the day, before I place it in the dark for 24 hours. My environment is exceedingly dry, so, I find doing such to be beneficial with curing/drying process.

The general rule via old time auto growers is: Never trim or remove leaves unless necrotic.
They learned this from the school of hard knocks.

For me I like to experiment. With coco sometimes one has to force them to mature. Seems they are just so well fed--lol.

Cheers
