Hey Stitch

I'm a big fan of you work. I've grown onyx, currently growing mi5 and, can't wait to get my hands on the kush van stitch.

My question is do you have any experience with autos in " super soil" or "tlo"? Personally it's my favorite way to grow however I'm sceptical of using it for autos. I'm not sure how to go about it. Because its such a hot soil I'm afraid it would burn my seedling and everywhere I read people say you are not supposed to transplant autos. So I'm affraid if I start in final pot with hot soil it will burn my babies, and if I start in light soil and transplant into the final pot with super soil it will stunt my plants. If you have any experience or advice on this matter I would love to hear it.

you could layer it , useing the super soil in the lower and possibly upper sides so the seedling gets a good start before contacting the hot soil

peace

The problem with that is that the roots tend to shoot straight down with very little side growth in the early stages. I was thinking either just start the seeds straight into the hot mix and let the strong survive. Or figure a way to hollow a 6" hole down the center with light soil all the way down and fill in the hot mix on sides. I don't know just thinking out loud.

I use TLO and my soil is fine for my seeds to go right in...long as you have a good cook you should be fine..or use the dirt from the last grows pot..works great for me.:stylez rasta smoke:Check out Xs TLO for dummies its the shizzl

I'm ment 6" wide down the center of a 5 gal. 6" might be a little much maybe 4" would be enough. But yes I think we are on the same page. I was thinking maybe get a piece of 4"-6" wide PVC cut the length of the 5 gal bucket. Place in the center of the pot put 2 gal of hot mix around outside then fill center to the same level with light mix and then just slide it out. Fill the rest of the pot with light mix. I think I'll try it next run.
