Yeah, that'll work, but what you achieve is really just spreading the load of dust and odor molecules between 2 separate systems, with a little good will it could be called a 2 stage system.

This comes at a cost of course, increased heat, power consumption and wonga leaks.

On the other hand you gain increased air circulation in the grow room, which may possibly offset a fan or two, depending on design.

Personally I don't think it is worth the effort.

Well I guess what I'm thinking is if I can pre clean the air before it leaves that'll help with odor maybe as for heat that's not a problem I live near Canada

Alright well I just ordered a new filter a I power 6 inch off Amazon

Although I do still have my ventech filter so I'm thinking if I draw through the I power and then push through the ventech maybe that would help plus I hate throwing things away unless they are clearly no good so I figure while this filter was used last year with so so results is may be better than nothing is doing a double filter a bad thing does it help? I would think it would but was wondering if anyone's tried it

a filter either side of the fan ? would that not kill the fan ?
could try washing out the old filters cloth cover and the carbon if you want to keep it.

Well I just put the fan on top of the old filter and turned it on holy crap no wonder that thing wasn't working for shit instead of air coming out the screen/ carbon area it's just coming out from around the top flange so it's not even filtering the air wow what junk I feel like I should return it to amazon jeez man that sucks hmm what If I did a phrsh intake filter to draw and the new I power filter on the exit and I'm not worried about it tearing up the fan

And part of the reason I'm looking at 2 filters on one fan is a my fan is 450 cfm and I count find what the opower was rated for but it was all I could afford and I'm looking at growing some strains this winter that are said to be really freaking stanky so I'm wanting to do the best I can for the limited budget I have right now

Could give it a try but looking at the filters in that size 6x16 looks like they are rated for about 350 to 409 cfm depending on brand I wish I knew how to cancel an order on amazon I'd just get a 6x24 phat filter and call it good for 100 bucks fml maybe get the phat filter and then out the 6x16 on the exhaust end?

It's just frustrating because by the time I get done buying all this shit I'm not going to have money for seeds again and I was really looking forward to trying some new strains sodk being one of the maine ones I want to try

Wwll got a phat filter 6x24 air is being pulled through is nice and slow can hardly feel it and it seems as though I don't have the suction on my tent I had last year so maybe that's a good thing meaning I'm not pulling air faster than the filter can handle as with my 6x16 ventech gonna order a new thing of ona and or maybe a small ozone thingy
