Lighting Help on lighting please

That makes perfect sense, i will more than likely take that approach. If i get these cobs though they will be in the main room. Which leaves me with a CFL to veg which is ok but not as good as cobs. I can't afford cobs for both

Cfl's can do it.

But be aware that 3500K cobs will do an adequate job of veg while providing good flowering. A real all rounder. The 4K is similar in use.

We all use what we have and hopefully utilize it to its best. I still have several lights I keep dragging out to supplement small corners and such.

I would love to have a 4x8. That would really be a good size to get a program off and running since all the humidity and ventilation issues are easier when you start dealing with larger spaces.

I think i need to pay more attention to both environment and plant aswell, as probably the same as most people on here, life gets busy and a day or two can go past.
I'm really liking the idea of the cobs as I'm a real perfectionist and so far 4 grows in i suck lol. Just want to produce a nice plant

The thing that I like is the fact that they are starting to think that these lights can stretch out without much appreciable drop in quality and, I suspect, yields. These Chips are mondo powerful and placed properly seem t really get it done for a fraction of the cost of other options.

And you are right about the envelope. Growing indoors is a completely hostile environment to what a plant wants to see. Anything we can do to bring stability to our grow space will help the plant to cope with other factors that may be less than optimal.

How many plants do you grow under that setup?

Right now 4. Waiting on a fifth to break ground.

I know my grow is on a much smaller footprint, but Cobs can be scaled up quite nicely.
I am currently growing my first plant, an I do think I am doing a good job, I should be rewarded nicely,
Give my second grow, I rate I can improve greatly, but... the lighting currently is the least of my problems... Cobs all the way for me.
I'd look at DIY or buy prebuilt from one of the vendors up in here, but BigSm0 is very helpful so I would go with his Autocobs, would defo get stellar service from him
