Hi, First grow. My plants are 40 days old.in soil, under led lights.
Half are dutch passion 'think different' , the others are some sort of Northern lights auto.
All the plants are very green and healthy looking, except that in the last 10 days they have grown very rapidly - some have grown 14" in 10 days.
The stems are week and spindley looking - very soft and green.
The node spacing is very wide - the worst ones are about 3" apart.
I believe they should be more like 1.5" apart. Is this right?
What has happened?
Is it not enough light?
Could it also be excess of nitrogen?I know from conventional gardening that nitrogen can cause too much soft green growth.
But the plants are not showing any other signs of over fertilising.
Sorry,can't post pictures just now
