I try to look for trichs changing to cloudy(unless they have pink or purple trichs), pistils at least 90% turned brown or red(some strains keep producing pistils too), wait til it slows down feeding, watch for the calyx swell, timing, they all come together to paint a picture of ripeness to me. I look for more than one(as many as possible)indication of ripeness, that way im not using one method for every strain whether it works or not lolI watched a video today with a female doctor who studies cannabis talked about how amber trichromes arent what theyve been rumored. She said its not cbn but likely a start/sugar conversion of some kinnd. What do you look for, to let you know when to harvest?
