Lighting Help with Upgrade Possibilities

Hey Guys,
Just want to ask some opinions on increasing my lights in a week or 2.
I currently have 6 plants (3 Think Diff and 3 Cheese XXL) under a 600w Viparspectra light.
The light is currently only on veg as the girls are still young. They are only in 2.5gall pots as im in a 4'x4' tent.
As they get bigger im going to buy another light, I was going to buy another 600w but its actually cheaper for me to get 2 300w.
Do you think this would be overkill in a tent this size or should i just buy 1 300w.
Any thoughts and opinions are a huge help to me.

Getting another light is a good idea because any time you can increase your current light spread, that will be a good thing. I use cobs and my motto is one light over one plant. With mass built leds I was using previously I would put 2 plants max under those lights.

The only trouble with LED lights is the usable coverage so I would recommend two 300 watt lights plus your 600

Thanks for the reply, I get ya but unfortunately my bank account wont allow a cob for each plant, that would be awesome! If i buy cobs i will buy decent ones so im looking at like €180 a light.
@namvet25 Ye thats the problem, even now the plants at the side really lean into the light... i think 2 300w it is.
Perhaps then mid flower another 2 300w... with the 600w in the middle i can have 1 300w adjacent to it on each side. (Thats 1800w though 0.0)
Perhaps im getting ahead of myself!

From what i can gather the Mars Hydro has a bit more red spectrum. When the Viparspectra is on full, the light coming off it really isnt that pink!

I am in kind of a similar situation. I am planning another grow setup (micro grow). I will be going with COB lights, as they do not generate as much heat, compared to other lights.

From what i can gather the Mars Hydro has a bit more red spectrum. When the Viparspectra is on full, the light coming off it really isnt that pink!

I have a mars reflector that i like. There are some less expensive cobs too, i think roleadro is a decent one.

So the 300w lights dont have a veg and bloom switch like my 600w has. If i have only veg on the 600 but the other lights are on full spectrum. Would this have any negative impact on the ladies?
