Hi

I was hoping someone could let me know what is causing this. They are under 400 hps in a tent. In Miracle Grow feeding 2tbs of 1-10-1 fossilized Bat guano once a week. and giving 1pint of water approx everyday. R/H 50/60% TEMP 25/27c They are in 10 ltr pots My plants are a bit crammed in I didn't think they would go quite so well this particular plant was from a seed that sprouted two plants, they all have something similar but this is the worst. I tested the PH my tap water at 7.2. If its the tap water how do I get the PH down could I just boil it? I have bought some dried blood with 12% nitrogen just in case it needed N?

Many thanks in advance:tiphat:

post in the infirmary as suggested.

However, it could be a combination of overwatering and PH - water every day is probably interfering with the wet/dry cycle that they like to go through, only water when needed i.e. when they are dry - you could poke 2" holes in the soil to help them dry out now. You can buy some ph down very cheaply (i know some people who use it in organics) off ebay, or use vinigar or lemon juice to bring down the PH. If you can check the PH of your run off that might also help.

A good medicin to give organics is molasses (black treakle in supermarkets), egg shells (powdered and 1 egg per 2 liters of soil) and epsom salts (I use .5ml/l) - you can get the epsom salts from any pharmacy (constipation treatment). You need to put the powdered egg shells into the soil first by poking small holes using a blunt end of a fork or chop sticks then try and fill up the holes with the powder. You need only do all of this once, but the molasses and epsom salts can be repeated every couple of weeks if you feel the need. Egg shells need a good week to empart their calcium.
