ok. so i have never used a hempy bucket. i bought some bushdoctor coco loco. foxfarms product. was wondering if i could use this as the medium in a hempy bucket? want to try a hempy bucket just not sure i can use the coco loco

Never used coco Loco but from site seems its just coco. So yes you can use it just be sure to fill the bottom with perlite or something of that nature would work. I' ve done full perlite and perlite/coco still up in the air which is better. Had great success with both.

also says potting mix on bag and i see lots of ppl using the loco in outdoor beds and as soil. so i just wasnt sure.

So I looked on amazon it looks like a lot of dirt and some coco. I wouldn't use it get you some plan coir or just go perlite.

was all i could get locally. was planning on a dirt grow so its cool. just was reading and i thought the loco wasnt dirt. so i was looking for options. got the ocean forest and happy frog as well. can get straight perlite tho. so i might still try 1 or 2 hempy buckets. can i still start my seeds in solo cups and plant those in the perlite?

I myself have never done straight perlite . I like to use coco /perlite and some earth worm castings cuz I don't feed anything but plain water for the first 10-12days .

I've never used the ocean forest and happy frog but I have heard there is food in them so ya I don't see why not. I use pro mix that's for no food (blank slate )

i have coco loco, happy frog and ocean forest. never used the coco loco. the happy frog is great for seedlings. so i might just use that. could i still use the solo cups? i tier with the solo cups. germ in them. cut bottoms out of cup and plant cup. could i essentially still do the same with hempy style? just with a layer of soil on top. thanks man. ps if peepd ur grows. very nice stuff. will be starting the second tent/grow hopefully this weekend. about a month left on the 1st grow!. appreciate the help/advice my man
