I've cut them halfway or so before and the remaining portions of the branch continued to develop so either way is possible just depends on what you want. Less leaves is less photosynthesis, but your plant will keep living and doing its thing
Ahh perefect that's what I wanted to know I don't really need to cut off leaves just wanna cut some of the branches where the top half is ready but didn't know if I could cut half the branch or have to cut back near the stem
Ride on man , I've had no problems doin that in my experience, someone else might have different advice but I've done it to a couple plants and didn't experience problems, and the buds remaining on the branch still grew and the leaves on the branch continued to yellow as expected.
