Do it once and do it right; so true I have so much stuff sitting around my grow I'm never gonna use. I should probably get rid of it before the little woman sees how much money "we" spent on stuff we don't use but I have a hard time thowing anything away. Lol

I am a proponent of less wattage and more lights for led. So instead of one 1,000w for instance in a 4x4 tent, I would much rather have 2 500w lights to get a better spread.

Welcome @Boomer2269 glad you found out home. there is a ton of info here and more that enough people willing to help you out. So tell me more about this space, like what the ambient temps are and such this will also play a major role in the lighting that you choose. Just like ripper said there are some serious players here in the LED market like Platinum and Amare. They have just about anything you could want as far as LED grow lights go.

What is the reason that you are wanting LED ?

the space is a storage unit attached to a semi underground single garage in a townhouse complex. The reason I wanted led was the reduction in energy cost and the temperature of that the light would put off. I don't know the exact ambient tenet use in the storage unit but there is both a half wi doe that I could vent out of as well as the storage unit is heated so I can control the room temperature that the tent will be in. As well if needle I could intak air from the actual garage which is always very cool into the tent. I'm basically trying to get a setup going that will get me enuff weed for myself and the wife without having to buy anymore but at the lowest overall cost to me

I will tell you the LED run cool, i have a p300 in a 3x3x5'3'' tent and temps are 70-72 degrees with veg light only and 75 with both switches on in the room. So temp wont be an issue if anything you will have to find something to raise the heat a bit to help with transpiration.
Sounds like you have a wany to take care of both issues that most growers face and that is getting the temps right. How big of a tent...you may have already mention that but let me know what your plans are.

I do know that they run a bit hotter than the platinum series, so look at venting for these guys wont need much but i know they get a bit warm

will be venting the tent straight outside, just need to figure out a fan filter combo. Any brands out there people would recommend? would be looking for the quietest running fan
