Experienced indoor photoperiod grower here.

I believe autos have reached a level that I feel comforatable making the switch.

I am taking down my indoor setup and moving outdoors. Autos are my only option due to our hectic growing season to ensure a complete crop of fully mature flowers. Hope to find someone very knowledgeable to help out with strain selection. I got sick of trying every new thing out and typically grow only 3 strains. One for daily smoke, One for social gatherings and the knockout strain for nighttime.

I'm currently growing sweet seeds cream caramel . It's a very hardy plant. Ive done everything but drop her and she's still going . Even chopped the main cola off and she just boosted her growth. Check out the sweet seeds section and my grow journal .

thanks! I only have pics of my indoor scrog grows and they are photoperiod plants. Have never grown an auto yet.

You 're correct, the genetics of autos has made huge leaps thanks to many dedicated breeders (we have more than one superstar here).

It's very exciting to start growing outside in the sunshine. Although I am nervous about yielding enough to last the whole year. I will document everything on this site. and hope to make a few good friends, and with the support of this community hope to have a successful first auto grow outdoors. Yep, you found it!! The bestest place to be for growing a nice garden. There's lots of knowledgeable, friendly folk here, happy to help or just keep an eye on things with you.
The best thing to do is start a journal in the new growers forum. It's a great way for you to record your progress and for us to see how your doing and cheer you on.

Dutch Passion, Sweet Seeds and Royal Queen Seeds are my favourite.

Yip Autos are getting to the stage where they can grow as big as Photos. I'm the same as yourself I have many photo grows under my belt and only one auto. I turned out well enough, but I also used RDWC and LED mixed with HPS all of which I'd never used before so could have gone way better. You'll see for yourself some of the monster buds the guys on here are growing even in soil.
