Yeah they do work pretty well. But the outside temperature plays a major part as well. If the temp outside is below 20°c I can get away with a temp between 24°c - 26°c inside the grow-drobe, without the cooltube it would hit at least 35°c in there, which is far too hot. I still have to use frozen bottles in front of the fans on really hot days, but luckily the weather is changing which means I can keep the temps steady in the grow space.

I use Tapatalk on my phone to add the pictures like that. [emoji106][emoji6]

i was getting around 35 when i had the 400w hps going, and that was with in an and out fan, so i just switched to 250w phs for now, but winter is coming! haha i'm actually looking forward to winter this year, bring on the colder weather, and the 400w hps!

Just seen your photos. Looks really good! Are you a carpenter or designer or something? Just wondered because of the CAD images you uploaded of the design?

Yeah HPS get VERY hot if you don't have decent extraction, I can't wait for the winter, it's going to be pretty warm for the next few days, I screamed at the TV when the weather man said it was going to reach 26°c today!!!!! Fucking weather. It's mid September not fucking July! Lol!

thanks, and no, i did that 3d in something called sketchup - its free to download, takes a while to get your head around, but once you get used to it its great. it really helped me work out how things would fit together. i also did the whole design flat in photoshop, 1mm for 1 pixel, so knew i was spot on! i got the the doors and mdf cut to size, so i needed to be correct!

but i'm reworking the doors, the new doors will cover the height and width, so you won't see the frame, and i can fit the hinges better (and more hidden). but the the current doors will go towards my planned mini veg area

its been enjoyable making it though! i did find on the net you can buy things like this, but they're really expensive. minus the tools i had to buy, this didn't cost much more to build than those grow tent things!

Ah wicked!! I've used Sketchup before. It's really good. I am a designer which is why it interested me!

hi all, i'm a grower from the uk

although new here, i started growing about 14 years ago, i had the perfect setup - not big, but two separate grow spaces, one for veg, one for flower, both extracting into the loft, both part built into the wall, nice and quiet. i used to have a plant come out every two weeks roughly ... those were the days, i smoked a lot back then!

after moving i had to stop growing for a number of years, with just the occasional temporary grow now and then but now i'm building and tweaking - and hopefully expanding - a new setup.

i grew autoflowers once before, about 10 years ago, i think they were lowryder. i wasn't very impressed, but to be fair they did have a troublesome grow with them having to be hidden and kept in the dark for days on end.

but i've been looking into the new breed of autoflowers, and i'm impressed! so with the limited space i've got, its autoflowers for me from now on

i've currently got one grow space, about 100cm*90cm and about 160cm high. its actually 200cm high, but built with a space underneath to hide all the plugs, timers, ballast etc! its built to look like normal wardrobe, i couldn't get away with a grow tent!

i'm looking to the possibility of a second space, just a small area for the first few weeks of growth, before they could go into the main area under hps

anyway, i'm looking forward to reading, learning and sharing all about this beautiful plant
