Mephisto Genetics Hi ... and the shortest grow journal ever -- Sour Bubbly

Haha, that's where I've gotten many supplies as well ;).. basically you slide the paper clip onto the fabric pot(like you would a piece of paper), have a little loop end sticking up for the tie and just go from there..

I'll have to try that. I thought that it wouldn't work because the paper clip would be removed by the plant as it grows? But thinking of it I can just stick a thumb tack through it to keep it in place

I'm with Brew, I've used binder clips on the edge of smart pots for tying down too. Somehow I seem to find an unlimited supply... ;)

I also used to use big binder clips in my tent to attach plant yo-yos. The binder clip goes around the frame of the tent and then the yo-yos clip nicely onto the "arm" of the binder clip.

This has been my tying down "experiment" plant. I have those green clips but they don't work well for the fabric pots. This is in a 1g plastic. Practiced tying down along with topping on this "Lowryder".
I'll use all your tips for the fabric pots. Thanks again, everybody. Sorry for jacking your thread, too

I too lurked for years. I'm glad I finally joined and I look forward to learning from you all! I'm so heavy handed that I tend to not tie down or train so it will be great to soak up some techniques from you guys and gals.

How did you LST them in the fabric pots? That's what I use but I don't know what to use to tie them down...

Hey man I use big safety pins. Work awesome got like 100 off Amazon for a few dollars. They don't damage the fabric pots easy to use. Give them a shot don't break and reusable.

Thanks CoolBunny. I don't know the different phenos, but mine had a wonderful spicy juicy fruit aroma in late flower. Buds have been in jars for a week now and the smell got a lot earthier but popping the buds open gives off that same fruity smell.
You'll certainly find out my friend! I've grown two so far at the same time, one was super stinky and sticky, the other a lighter smell and not quite as sticky, both amazing. The smelly one turned out to be the hubbabubba dominant man.
