Have you ever grown cannabis before? Photos or autos?
It sounds like you might have a little time to brush up on some reading while waiting for the season; here's a few quick links to get you going!
New Growers Forum - A great place to start! Read all of the sticky threads at the top of the list here; very important stuff and you'll find yourself using them as reference documents even once you're more comfortable and familiar with growing. Once you're ready to start your grown journal, this would be a great place to do it in. Lots of very helpful and watchful eyes, you can post pictures of your grow, ask questions, and let other members follow along side you as you go from seed to harvest!
Outdoor / Green House Growing - Wasn't sure if you were growing indoors or out; sounded like outside based on your intro here, so if that's the case, why not pop in here and say hello? Lots of good information in here and like-minded individuals that can help you through your outdoor adventures!

Welcome, I figure I'd share the love I've received so far. People here are a hell of a lot more friendly and willing to help than some other sites, so again.. welcome to the fam. I also wanted to rub somethin in a lil bit for the ones thinkin bout the weather,, it's been a cool 77 deg here "Wind Chilllll.." 
- sorry everyone, I actually don't mind the cold but it never gets really cold here. I can't contribute much but I am goin to try to participate more. When you get started keep us posted. Again, welcome.
