He was feeding 100ml Sensi Bloom A&B per 50 litres tap water (so 2ml per litre or half strength, full strength being 4ml per litre) at around 6.3 pH in Plagron Light Mix.
That was a couple of weeks ago, when they had already started flowering. He messaged me and told me the lower leaves were going yellow. They look like they'd been going yellow for at least a week or two. I told him to up the feed by 50% immediately.
He's been feeding them now 150ml A&B (so 3ml per litre / advanced nutrients recommend 4ml per litre but being they're autos I wanted to stay a little lower.)
Now about a week or so later he's telling the a couple of the plants lower leaves are turning from yellow to purple.
This tells me he should up the feed to 3.5ml per litre now. Let me know what you think.

HH buddy, what's good brudda?
..the girls look great bro', damn good work for a new grower, mistakes and all
oooooo! 9-47-9 -that's some hot she-ot there! ...looking at the Sensi B, at only 2-4-8...small wonder the P got a little thin,...( I know AN makes fine product, but I've always puzzled over their NPK number ratios, no matter how the 2 parts combine).... Okay, you can dose her at 1/4 strength max. with that--alone, and I don't mean a heavy soaking either, a moderate watering will be best... one shot should be enough, just to ease off the deficiency some,... at week 8 now, it's time for a trichome assessment...get your magnifier out-- 8-10x would be enough, to evaluate what the clear:cloudy is, and if any amber is showing as well,... this is the tough part, gauging how long you have until harvest, allowing for that week of cleansing, which helps remove extra nute's, carb's, etc., so she finishes starving but clean... makes for better smoke! How fast the change from clear to cloudy comes is something you must evaluate every day,...cloudy trich's are fully mature, max THC; most auto's will amber up, but not all, or at least until they are way way over-ripe-- just a heads up! Ambering happens when the THC breaks down into CBN, and that's what give the narcotic heaviness to the buzz... so, just how ripe you want your buds is a personal choice,... I know folks who take their plants at full cloudy/minimal amber, and others who want it practically golden colored! Depends on the strain too, % Indica/Sativa,....generally, I like mine at about 10%, as the trichs will change more during dry/cure, and especially longer tern storage,... ***...... well, there's a lot of back and forth about this, and different brands formulate ratios according to their criteria,... as a general trend from what I see and read, early to mid bloom, P should be the highest, ...after that, even to K-biased for finishing... I don't think it's worth fussing over as a new grower, micro managing your nutes is best affected when you have more experience under you belt,... as long as you follow the basics, and feeding charts especially with multi-part feeds, you'll be okay,.. having some supplements, like a PK booster, can help maximize production, and in this case, treat a little defc. if things are coming up short, which happens! :smoking:
