Hello Everyone,

Im new to this forum but it is great, ive already opened a few threads and all my queries have been answered. you are all v. helpful and i love the shared passion for growing. ive never grown before but i have been studying up and planning and im so prepared.

I will be doing my grow outdoors on the south coast of spain, your legally allowed 3 plants per adult per household so no gorilla grow here, just good old front patio on show for all to see haha

I will be keeping a grow journel and i hope you all keep an eye out and give me tips as i go along.

Welcome Muffinman! Since you are limited on 3 plants, I would get the biggest containers I could get! 5 gallon(20L) and grow 3 big trees! There are some great genetics to play with for sure! If you need any help, please dont hesitate to ask!

Briman - Thanks for the advice, i was going for 3g pots as I only have 50L of soil atm but in saying that I may get one 5g (20L) pot and the others 3g (11L) and see if there is a major difference. Gotta try anything and everything to see what suits i guess.

2 extra gallons will make a BIG difference, as long as everything goes as planned! I dont like to throw out yield numbers, but 2 gallons should net you at least an ounce bigger yield in a 20L pot over a 11L pot at the minimum! Keep that in consideration, since you are limited to 3 plants.

Hello Spain an welcome.
I'd stay and beg on corners and put all 3 plants in 50l pots. Had an outdoor grow, didn't took care cause it was far away in a friends garden. He was taking care but the dude was a fkin drunk. At harvest time I had buds the size of 2l bottles. Thing is they were grown directly in soil with just vege nutrients cause all flower time was raining. I could only imagine a plant in 50l pots in your climate. Anyways I wish you the best of luck bro!
