High ph won't move

Since the AS is water soluble that very low pH doesn't surprise me. Next time you feed them make sure to check the run off again. Hopefully you'll see a significant drop in the pH.

I'll be testing the ph of everything from here on in...she's like a different plant today, not out of the woods but she's certainly perked up.

Appreciate your help Muddy

Cheers

Day 25

First watering after adding the aluminium sulphate, 2ml grow, 1ml top max and 1ml calmag in 1 litre of water ph 6.5. Just less than 10% run off, ph 7, so coming down but may have to go a bit more.

She's still showing signs of improvement and new growth looks much healthier.

You might want to give it one more feeding before adding any more. Lower the pH of the feed to 6.0 and check your run off again.

I hear you loud and clear Muddy, thank you sir :)

Still seeing nice improvement in the new growth, much healthier colour and seems to be holding, I believe we are seeing the first signs of stretch too.

Temps are much more stable now, between 21C lights off and 29C on. RH is a bit on the low side, between 30% and 40%, not really sure how to raise it.

Cheers

A much happier Bob

Day 29 Update

Watered with 2ml Grow, 1ml Top Max in 1l water ph 6.0. Run off came in at 6.9....Al Sulph or no Al Sulph, that is the question?

She's stretching nicely now and is now showing sex, the bottom leaves are yellowing and dying but these were badly affected at the start of the grow, new growth seems to be holding its colour

Cheers bro...a lot happier now, still a little work to do me thinks but definitely getting back on track. Not gonna stop me worrying though, you know what us parents are like!!

:smoke:

Looking good Bob but I see the pH didn't drop much more with this last feeding. I think another small dose of AS is in order for your next feeding.

Thanks Muddy...I've been delighted with her improvement since the last dose of AS and it was so good to see the run off drop below 7.

Gonna be Thurs or Friday before I can water again, my thinking is...5gms seems to have brought the ph down about 3 points so maybe the same again might be the way to go...we'll find out soon enough anyway!!

Thanks again my friend

Bob
