I remember getting a bag of Cheeba Cheeba back in the 70's. Stuff was just as potent as the weed grown now. I smoked some before going on a train to NYC. I thought it would never get there. Time just stopped. That's how good it was.

Unless you lived in Cali, smoking bud was unheard of until the early 80's. You bought a bag of weed, it was ground/crushed leaf, maybe some bud, and seeds. I never even heard of Thai Stick until about 1983, and even then it had seed in it! Sinsemilla? what kinda weed is that???........

Yep, loads of seeds back in the day. If it didn't have lots of seeds, that usually meant it was harvested too early. Plus there was so little indica around back then, which is more in line with what we consider to be good bud these days (dense nuggets). All the good bud had that scraggly, fluffy look.
