How do I deal with the thickness of this plant I can hardly get to it for watering, is it ok to thin it out buds are just now starting

What strain? Auto/Photo? How long is it in flower/how old is the plant? And yeah, you need to do some leaf tucking/defoliating/Lollipops/LST. Get that bitch opened up

Hindu Kush auto, 23 days old first flower yesterday its crazy thick but also has a lot of bud sights

Looks good though....I would much rather have to deal with this "problem" then a stretchy beanpole from light stretch. Its all about giving some space and keeping the tops level with LST. Especially in a plant shaped like that.

How are you currently watering? Maybe as Dr Bubbles says, do some leaf tucking so you can get a watering can spout in. You don't really want to take any leaves off this early if you can avoid it, the plant uses them all to power herself along.
