Lighting Holographic Series1 Live Results.

Thanks very much! They are getting pumped full of buddhas tree additives and fed 3 times per day. Just can't decide to add another HS1 or not. It's a very small space :/

I think you will be happily suprised with what 1 can do in bloom bro, that's one seriously dialed in spectrum you have there.

That's good to know Tang. Last run I used a 600W HPS and 1.2m tent. Heat and noise were a pain and I found the groom kind of overtook my house. This light hopefully makes growing with decent results possible in much smaller spaces. There is no way I could use a 250W HPS in this small space without bringing back the 6" extraction and all the heat and noise that comes with it. As it stands, my grow space is virtually silent and so far I like what I see.

I'll revisit the option of light #2 in a couple of weeks. It would certainly be pretty cool to see what 1 light can produce. The feed schedule I'm running with coco and drippers is certainly doing nicely too :)

I will just make this thread home for this beauty if that's ok... she is, after all, on holiday under the HS1 sun :Aloha:

Big question... I know defoliation is a no-no when it comes to autos but look at those pictures my guys and gals and tell me, since there are some budsites, especially in the middle, that are being completely shielded by the bush. I try to tuck away the leaves that I can, but in some places I can't do that since there is simply too many leaves or they are too big. Then again, we have day 49 now and I wouldn't want to cause the plant unnecessary stress - does anyone have any ideas?

And now for the photo shoot:

One thing I noticed which I haven't seen before - look at how there are trichomes growing even on the big fan leaves, this is crazy (not sure if you can tell)

Have a great day everyone "Bailers Booya"

Great lookin plant mate. I've been known to nip n tuck at about this stage with autos my most recent being the Chem City Blues and they grew well with no signs of stress, just keep the trimming to a minimal....stand directly over her and plan which ones to remove, don't go in like a nutter with a chain saw lol.

Just be very careful doing too much if you haven't done any defoliation in veg, if she's not used to it she go into shock!

Just going to throw in a quick update of my TD :tiphat: She is fattening up nicely...
Thank you for the tips regarding defoliation, I only did a bit in the middle and some of the fan leaves have been trimmed down as opposed to cut altogether, the plant didn't really care lol, she's just happy whatever happens. I find it interesting how all the buds are leaning towards center to catch the most of the light - I moved it up a little bit and now it's sitting approx 30cm above the canopy.
