Do you have the 3W version? If so then it could be used....the plants in this grow are grown all the way up to 4"-8" within the lights surface with minimal bleaching or other issues. Grow powered by one 100X3w mars and two 100X3w populargrow 100X3w leds.

Not.sure if its the old chip.set or new its a 300w marshydro a white unit got.it off ebay around a year ago

My tent is 16"x16"x38"and my vipar 450 sits 14 inches above the canopy with both switches on, you're going to battle very high temps but it's not too much light at all

The vipar 450 is a 200w light by the way, that's 200w total with both veg and bloom on, the only issue you are going to have is that tub is going to get into the mid 90s or hotter with no top extraction fan

I will measure the box today when I get chance got a few jobs to do thanks for.the info on the light GBB I will pick up some pc fans to day and a controller gonna do a temp run on the box today see how hot things get in there had a couple of ideas at work on how to make the box.better also gonna see if I can.clear some space in the attic for a tent could some one recommend a suitable size tent for a viparspectra 450w thanks every one for your input much appreciated

Here is the extract i built from pc junk......pull start too.......

amazingly powerful and quiet

1 x Shuttle PSU
1 X margarine tub
3 x old fans
some wire and zip ties and an old bathroom pull cord
and a plant pot as a sleeve to connect to my filter

Nice work on the extractor fan I should look in my shed am sure I could find something to make one my self I horde enough stuff nice touch with the pull cord when I read pull cord I instantly pictured a 2 stroke generator lol

Not sure if I am gonna run the box the wife keeps moaning about the noise from the led light and since it will be in the bedroom with us I can understand why and with us both working during the day she is scared incase it burns the house down

Gonna do some research on a tent for the 450w led I checked the attic out today and to my suprise theres room for a medium tent theres also traces of a previous grow old tenants I'm guessing
