Good day all,

I'm curious to know if anyone has used products on their grows.

How do you guys think of going with House & Garden's Root Excelurator, Multi-Zen and Bud XL?

Its a bit expensive but just curious to know what you guys think.

I'm on my 4th grow using their Aqua Flakes in a RDWC system and about to start my first soil grow using their Soil A & B. I'll be using it on some photos as well as autos. So far I'm very pleased with the results. Much better than AN, FF, GH or any others I've tried to date. If you go with them, I would suggest using the full lineup. In soil that would be the Soil A & B, Drip Clean, Roots Excelurator, Nitrogen Boost, Multi Zen, Bud XL, Top Booster and Shooting Powder. While I don't use the Amino or Algen in hydro, I will be using them in soil. Their customer support is first rate. I've had a couple of small issues in the RDWC system and they were very helpful and weren't satisfied until I was. It's also nice that they test their hydro nutes in the same Current Culture system I use. In fact, before CC started to produce their own line of nutes, they recommend the H&G line for use in their systems.

Would you put the recommended doses or need to cut it in half?

For autos I would go half strength on everything but the Roots Excel and the Drip Clean. Those I would go with full strength. It will depend a bit on what soil you are using. I'm in a soil less mix which contains no nutrients. If you're in something like Fox Farms Ocean Forest that contains amendments like worm castings, and guano, you won't need anything but the Roots Excel and Drip Clean for the first 3-4 weeks.

The nutrient calculator they have on their web site is very good. It will not only tell you what to feed each week, but will also show the total you need for the whole grow.

Iv used house and garden on and off for a while mainly root excel and top shooter excellent stuff but not cheap but seems to last forever not had the balls to use the top shooter on any autos as of yet got one left that looks really healthy so might give it ago

Im growing in 3 gal pots, The seedling just popped out of the soil (3 days after germination). If I were to follow the feeding schedule in the H&G website, How much water/root ex. am I feeding these new born plants? I don't want to drown them.
