How and When to Plant My Seeds

yeah you can.and thats some nice soil but youll also have to use some compost teas since the nutrients arent typically heavy enough to run it from start to finsh issue free.so you'll have to pop them lightly here and there and possibly some cal mag.molasses n epsom salt works dor while but also the heavy buffering capabilities arent quite there.it is but not as prevalent as many need not PH the water or tea.so youll want to add some lime and simple stuff for AACT's

how often and when should I add the nutrients from the compost teas? Also will I be able to mix cal mag. Along with the compost teas and the lime when I pour the liquid on my plants? I am really trying to make this simple because I'm a quadriplegic and I have to tell people what to do.

also if I cannot find the dr. Earth 's soil will any organic soil do?
I was also wondering if I did not add any of the ingredients you told me about and just use the soil will I still be able to grow a decent plant?

your a quad handicap individual ?(I have MS myself and a nasty ass back too) you need to enlist a person who can mix some soil and get some of the tlosoils.com 5LB pack.Kind soil Im not familair enough with just yet but I have really high hopes and your welcome to try them too since they have excellent grows behind them thus far but not with many auto yet. but 1 or 2 of the 5LB packs.buy some simple organic soil.like organics choice from Miracle grow.I hate MG myself but Im forced to use it here and there and it does work well.a brick of coco coir a bottle of ca mg+ a cpl large bags of perlite and a 4.5 LB bag of castings for teas a bottle of molasses no sulfur, and a 30LB bag of castings/EWC (earth worm castings) some bokashi if you can swing that.many things are very cheap actually.just a total layout is pricey but it'll give you some of thee highest quality buds you'll be able to achieve to date imo. more potent and a far cleaner taste.BUT you will also have to learn drying and curing too.and that takes time and experience. Mephisto genetics are excellent to start with as well as Stone and NW works over at the autoflower portal.stone dragon and black stone are perfect to start with too and easy to grow as well. you have now all the tools to grow and follow along with my threads and go from there.

1 - 2 packs 2.1 master mix

1-2 bottles of molasses( no sulfur )

1 bottle of ca mg+ from general organics works nicely or equilibrium.equilibrium might be easier since its got a 1-2-2 value to it and its a decent cal mag suppliment its just a little thick.but works nicely. and if teas arent in the view as easily ,Id say get the equilibrium imo.hell both and swap between them during flower like i do if you can afford it.

5LB or so maybe 10LB brick and cut it in half and reconstitute that into a bin and about a 35 gallon tub. and another to mix the coco in maybe 25 gallon or so.

35 gallon tub is for about 6 gallons of soil 6 gallons of coco coir..5 gallons of perlite and that 30LB bag of earth worm castings EWC and one of them packs all go into a large bin and mix that up well and add roughly a gallon or so of water.read up on the sqeeze test and as long as it passes the squeeze test it perfectly moist and open it every week.after the first week mix it completely again then its time for a four week nap ideally. then the pots. for autos it best to have a 10-12 inch deep pot and not too wide so as to stack them a little closer if possible. then the lights.CFL are going to be your way to go most likely.less issues and less heat and generally imo less problems. 6500K tubes will work excellent all the way through too. LEDs are decent but expensive but CFL is cheap and VERY effective.I run an 8 tube 4 ft

is that enough for now?

teas are easy..and any soil works if you plan of loading the soil up with varying components.but its essentially a little cheaper and a lit easier than buying all the stuffs and mixing a half dozen to a dozen things. one thing to have on hand eventually not right away is a good bag of either sweet or dolomite lime or simple garden lime or prilled or pellet lime. there only two main type that are best imo for our needs thus far..dolomite and pellet lime.

all of this is going to be too difficult for me to get someone to do. The only way I will be able to grow my auto GSC is to buy organic soil and let them grow in that only, and maybe and a supplement here and their. Will I be able to produce a smokable bud if I do this? I am also going to be growing this outside.

really? hmmm, thats a bummer man,its uber simple man.you dump 6 gallons of soil and coco in a bin. 5 of perlite and 5 of castings and one pack of the stuff ,mix, then 35-45 days, and its a water only system thats so simple and cheaper bagged soil will be able to accomplish. but yes you can use dr earths black bag that i mentioned.Pot Soil..a cpl teas and some lime added will do the trick which is MORE involved as a growing style even outdoors as a beginner.even with grows under you with autos OD can be tough cuz they can be very sensetive at times and it can slow or stretch their grow lessening their yeild with organics.bottled organics might be your way then.

your best option is to use that recipe I mentioned since it'll keep you in 30 gallons of useable soil for months without re buying much at all.cal mag and water BUT outdoors your really really going to want to use some nee cake and/or SNS 209 systemic additive to your watering.

also the tlo place i mentioned also had already bagged and prepped soil too. but your welcome to go that route with a far lesser soil and feed it often.Kind soil again has a supposedly water only soil right out of the bag too.so Im not sure what else to tell you man.

can it be just any potting soil or should it be organic? And is that 6 gallons of coco along with the soil, 5 gallons of perlite, and 5 gallons of casings or is that pounds? What are you calling one pack of the stuff?

use a 5 gallon painters bucket..US gallons

1 pack of the 2.1 (5 LB) master mix

6 to 7 gallons of coco coir

6 to 7 gallons of soil, Organic. dr earth is good, miracle grow organics choice is cheap n decent.organic soil ,aint gotta be awesome.

5 gallons of castings

5 gallons of perlite.

and a tote about 30 gallons

a jar of molasses

and a jar of soluble kelp and/or big bloom if you can swing it for flower and thats all you need.

and as simplistic as it get with a bottle of cal mag. 10-12 drops every other watering.or third watering depending how the leaves look but every other is most often fine.

mix the soil...coco...castings..and perlite together and make sure it can pass the sqeeze test..medium grip and it shoul half way or sliiightly more fall aprat when released...sticks together or clumps, its to wet. add water and cal mag mixture and wet until its good then let it sit a week..mix completely getting the bottom and making sure its fluffy when you mix it so it can breath, then close the tote back up ofcourse NOT being air tight. 65 - 75F is solid and let it sit for thirty days and plant.

a bag of seedling mix(plain organic is fine, black gold is nice) to plant into and voila..instant awesome in no time.

these two here are a similar mixture that I make with the packs i get to make my life easier too. and you too could have results like this sooner than you think.

some stuff can be bought online. most of it can be bought at any hydroponics shop and home depot.
the master mix looks like you have to buy online, and molasses, but the rest looks like you can get at your local hydro shop.

the actual ready to go packs yes.online only thus far. but you can buy the individual components and pick it apart a little so you dont have to buy each individual exact thing.this thread here

https://www.autoflower.org/threads/building-a-healthy-soil.41139/

will break that down for you and then its an even more simple mix. but thats the easiest and cheapest way since that mix I mentioned will provide more than 12 plants fully harvested in three gallon containers.
