How do i "fix" a bag of BIOBIZZ All-Mix for Auto's?

Helo,i was wondering if i can add 50% cocofibre to the biobizz all-mix as a way of diluting the nutrients? I was told that it is too hot for Auto's and i have some seedlings in Root Riot cubes right now and don't want to have the same problems i did last grow and at the same time i don't want to waste the all-mix soil and get the use out of it.

When I first started growing autos, it was with all mix as I had it to hand,

the first strain I ran grew fine, the next batch were stunted. So from then on I used lightmix to start them in, and some thousands of seeds started in it later, I've never had issues with stunting or it being too hot for them.

if you can pick up light mix I would do so.

if you are planning on going from your cube straight into final pot size, you could tier the soil, light mix top half, all mix bottom half.

I was thinking along those lines too but was hoping i could be lazy and get the cocofibre as its much lighter and easier to take home on a bike for a 6 mile journey lol.

I'll see if the local-ish growshop have the light mix in stock. Im wondering how you go about giving the plants fertaliser after potting them into a soil mix like the one you described with the light-mix ontop and all-mix on bottom? Do you give them the normal 1/4 strength dose after a couple of weeks in the soil?

I'd say it depends on your lighting and other factors , growth rate in comparison to nutrient uptake.
we have water with a high ec here, but that often means for us (in lightmix - transplanted into our recycled soil) plain water for the first 21-28 days.
But for you I would think of it as a type of supersoil method, just feed lightly and accordingly as you see fit, when nicely established I'd say you could feed as normal.

or... You could really thin it out with coco fibres/ added perlite.. But it's not something we've tried but maybe someone else could help with that

I decided to mix it with about 60% Plant Magic Soil Supreme. I got 5 plants in that mix inside 20 litre (4 gallon) airpots. The other 2 plants are in 75% plant magic/ 25% biobizz allmix. I'll proboby need to feed those 2 a bit extra compared to the other 5. Hope it's good enough for them!

I'm facing the same problem as I just ordered some Light-Mix for my future grows and they accidentally sent me All-Mix. :no:

I'm not going to be returning a 50 liter bag of soil mix so I think I'll just flush some of it a bit and mix it in the top layer. Should make it a bit less hot but we'll see.
