So its about time to harvest and i was curious as to how to harvest. I want to just chop her down at the base of the stalk but what goes on after that?

When you do that hang it upside down. Where ever it's hanging make sure there is some fresh air exchange going on, very minimal as to not let the plant dry too quick. Leave it full and intact for 2-3 days then remove the biggest fan leaves, (this can also be done before you chop and hang). Keep your RH is possible around 55-60% and about 70 degrees Fahrenheit if possible. Should take close to a week in those conditions. Once your shaker bottom buds can break off WITHOUT having a little stringy of stem connected to them, than your ready to cut into buds, you can final trim now, and put them in jars. Bigger stems should feel like they are border line ready to snap but won't.... your looking to have your buds between 55-65% the in your jars.
When you put the bud in for the first time close the jars for 18-24 hours and check on them, they will seem moist again. Put them on a setting reach until the outsides feel kind of crispy and had them back up, never leaving out for more than 2hrs Tops. Play this game for about a week and they should level out and feel about done. At this point jar them up for two weeks, burping once a week and enjoy some perfect cured bud!!
So once i put the buds in the jar for 24 hours in the dark. Come back and feel if the outside is more crispy and leave the lid on?
Nope, after you put it in the jar and put the lid on, wait 18-24 hours to come check on it... You can look sooner.... But anyway when you open the jars they will feel almost wet again because the moisture in the stem is pulled out into the bud and leveled out in the jar, that's why you have to put it on some sort of drying rack until you can feel the edges of the bud start to feel crispy again. Don't let this period exceed two hours though. Then back into the jar for another 18-24 and repeat prices until your between 58-62% RH in the jars, at this point it will start feeling like bud you buy from a dispensary or coffee shop or W.E. you can now jar it up and burro like once or twice a week until you reach desired taste
Is there anyway to just hang the entire plant then when the lowest bud branch by the floor which is the highest bud if it was up right somewhat crack (7 12 days ) then pull the fan leaves off manicure it then jar it then burp the jar every day for 20 mins or so for the first week then only burp it every third day until my rh in said jar reaches 62rh? Good idea?
Sounds pretty accurate bro, I actually used to brown paper bag it and just started hang drying the last two plants, with awesome results I might add, following the exact instructions I gave you, so there's room to play with things and find what works best for you and your garden, but sounds like your right on track
Does the brown bag conceal the smell as well? I thought i read that somewhere.
