So I went ahead and bought the MaxiSeries from GH, my plants are sitting in a 1.5 gallon basin, the roots are sitting in fresh gallon of water as of right now.

So if the nutes called for 1tsp per gallon of water (I'm in the veg phase right now) do I add the tsp in the gallon of water the roots are sitting in (I would take out the plants and set them in a separate basin so I can mix nutes properly and then put the plants back)? Would I just water as normal and change water/solution once a week and add fresh water/solution?

I included a pic I drew haha, okay so when I mix the solution (shaking it in a jug) with the water do I add into the rez as described below? and then top of with the ph water for the remaining space?

Thanks in advance!

What kind of system are you running your plants in?
That would make answering your question a lot easier.

If it is a recirculating system add it to the reservoir and it will flow through the system.

Not quite sure how your set up works...

:peace:

It's a bubbler system, airstone on the bottom of the basin.

I usually check the ph and ec/ppm of the water in the res....and mix my nutes accordingly.

then I add the nutes to the res and test again to see how they have mixed and the ph ec/ppm is settling.
when the plant is newly put into the dwc, I keep the water level at the level of the bottom of the netpot....and as the roots grow through will let the level drop between topoff's to about 1" or so from the bottom of the netpot....when midway through flowering I will let the res level drop lower and keep a bigger space between the res level and the bottom of the netpot...by doing this the plant is mildly stressed with no actual damage done to the plant....this IMO makes the plant terpenes and smell stronger, though others may have different opinions of the matter.
If using rockwool cubes is best to keep the res level just below the cubes so they are not constantly wet....gives em time to dry out....this is good because continually wet rockwool ofttimes leads to mold or rot problems.
