Indoor How far does the blackstar 240 penitrate

With this light can you only grow shorter plants or will it penitrate enough to grow sativa plants? I guess if need be I could add lights on the side.

Hay man I don't use Blackstars myself but my lights do have the same power chips,I'm growing a huge sativa under 400w of LED and I'm getting about 3ft of good penetration. If you go into the CFL LED section one of the stickies is a Blackstar Q&A post this question in there dude.

About 36", although I've had some Samurai Jacks under them that got almost 48" tall and they did well under them. Having good reflection also helps.
