Nutrients How far from stem?

Hi, how be just received some Biotabs (Guerilla) to use on my first outdoor grow.

Dumb question perhaps, but how far away from the stem should the tabs be inserted in to the ground? I know how deep to put them, just not how far away from the plant.

Not a user of them myself but think @St. Tom : does... (sorry to call on you fella, but you use biotabs don't you??)

Always here to help if i can this is my 1st run with biotabs also but i just put mine sort of in the middle from the plant to the edge of the pot if that makes sense as when i water the pot i do a circle round the whole pot

Thanks. I had planned on planting straight in to the ground, so was wondering how far out would be too far. But I’ve decided to dig some 20L pots in to the ground, so root mass will be restricted a bit and I know the tabs will only be feeding the plants, not leaching off it to surrounding dirt and not being used.
