I have some Nine day old sprouts looking nice under t5,s. I am switching over to my 1200 watt COB and would like some help on how high I should hang it thank you
Iv been wondering of these COBs i was reading an article the other week il try to post a link to talking about the COBs on Ebay being fake selling for 300-700$$ and such and the actual watts they pull is very very low.
Do you have a watt wall meter you can plug this into and see what watts its pulling im curious on this.
Will try to get link in here.
not trying to scare u either it could of been a diffrent brand of COBs but looked just like that
I was concerned about that too but it is 660 watt draw They assured me it was the real Mcoy. It is like 1175 leds s but one thing it is wicked bright it illuminated my whole room my bedroom and even behind me it bounced off the walls. It is alot brighter then two apollo 6 which is a 400 watt draw together. I won it at $400 Canadian which is a good price even for a 400 watt led so I am still ahead. And I like the build quality. The ebayer was straight up up on the actual draw and said as of May this year they are even being made better allot less chance of burnout and I did not even ask about that. I have three apollo 6 that are really nice light and a 155 watt real draw from the same company I bought the COB from It works great too they both have the same nine band spectrum my so called 300 led with the 155 watt draw looks identical in spectrum to my 1200 watt COB actual draw 660 watts.
Ok, heres an obvious questions, why are you using the 1200 watt for veg when you have apollo 6's you could use instead? Why not veg under 6's and then hit them with the monster once they start to flower?
