New Grower how long can i let a 2 part nutrient solution sit for?

ok so i got on a pretty usual schedule with watering (every 3-4 days) so i mixed up my AN connoisseur nutes and wet betty and went into the groom n when i went in i saw it didnt need to be watered, so my question is how long can i let this 4 gallon bucket of a 2 part nutes solution sit without it going bad i mostlikly need 24 hrs but will 48 be okay if need be?

Good question bro I've kinda been wondering the same thing. I know that AN recommends feeding it basically as soon as its mixed so I'm not exactly sure how long it'll last. I've had mine sit out over night and fed the next day and all seemed well but not sure about 48 hours.

My feed mixes (canna A&B) are enough for 3-5 days worth of watering and i've never had a problem! I think you'll be fine to leave it ^_^ just give it a good stir before watering.



Edit .. not sure about AN nutes specifically (i've not used them yet)

thanks alot guys, i threw a heavy duty black garbage bag over my bucket but i might just dump it in the morning anyway :/

Organic nutes will go bad faster than chemical ones. With organics I'd recommend using them the same day. Chemicals, maybe 2 days. Always best to only mix what you need at the time.

From my (very limited) experience I would concur with Blue. I've never used AN, but sometimes my Fox Farms nutrients will sit for about 2-4 days. When that happens I just give the container a good shake or two and it seems to do it's job just fine. Although it probably is a good habit to use it same day you mix it.
