I have a Betty Boo seedling that developed to the second node but has no center bud now. Looks like a nitro too early thing-but here's my question. I have the two shoots comming off the top as well as two comming off the first set of leaves, the plant lives on but how long will it take for sex to show? The seven nodes on the main stem that would be the norm with a ryder based auto--- well that's not going to happen, the main stem is only two nodes and that's all!
Any one know?

Can you explain what happened to the top cola?

i have seen many seedlings do this they can terminate as early as the first node or as late as early flower when this happens to a seedling it will normally stunt the plant in the case of autos and in my opinion its a waste of space unless you have lots ! they will normally stay very very small or in some cases they yellow and die all together i be-leave this is a genetic mutation of some sort as this happens in a number/ small % of seedlings regardless of linage its still a cool mutation and theirs many examples on other sites in cannabis freaks threads i too like to keep any plants like that just to see how they turn out ive never seen a auto that terminates that small taken to full term they normally die before they flowers ! do you have any pics of this mutant ?

The plant has had more time to develop and it is a female! The top got distorted because the coytiledon did not separate and half the seedling grew out the left side and half the right side of the cot. The cot separated at about day 4 or 5 and the plant is now recovering. It would be more valuble if it were a Betty Boo male but I just happened to have Mazar auto pollen to do a BXF1 with it!

On day 31 the Betty Boo started to put out pistula's. At day 16 all I had was 1 stress pistula and the stress was already over. The pistulas showed on several twigs at the same time just hours after giving a potasium spike. Over the next few days-- if I'm lucky, the plant will switch from indica dominate to sativa dominate. I'll post on that because that means the top on or not 31 days is normal for a Betty Boo that is going superauto.

Vision White Widow on the left-Betty Rt hight 12 inches.
