Dutch Passion Lemon Z has been outside for 154 days, flowering for 8 weeks. I've been chopping a cola every time i see brown leaves indicating mold. At first I tried just removing the moldy buds and leaving the cola, but after I saw a puff of smoke come out, aka spores, I've been cutting further down between healthy buds and taking the cola apart later to salvage the healthy buds. I have a couple of ounces of nice early-harvest bud curing from that process. I'm trying to let her go another week or 2 if the weather holds. Last night was the first time the temperature dipped down to 39°F. I've reduced watering to limit moisture from transpiration. The forecast is rain overnight so I extended the tarp this evening. It's supposed to be partly sunny the rest of the week, lows in the 40's, highs in the low 60's.

You've done a fine job Mara, just keeping her in good shape all this time much less making good buds ... she looks all done to me, I'd just take her fully down now... Weather and T's are not friends anymore, cold really messes with nute uptake anyway so further ripening is at the diminishing returns stage, and I imagine the sunlight is short and weak now too...

The final tally is 27 1/4 ounces. I really thought that I would beat the two pound plus northern lights that I grew a few years back. Anywho I guessed at the trichomes and after a check with my microscope they are at 20% amber.
This smoke is very tasty, and couch lock is an understatement. Just what I wanted

that's a hefty feed bag GH, fantastic grow of this girl! ...betting there's going to be some stanky stockings stuffed this Christmas

To date, RBF remains top o' the list for consistent smothering resin production and aroma profile 4/4 on this, small variations but you know RBF the instant you smell her! Same for the petite super dense budding, and the explosive stretch burst...
She's the most stable auto I know of actually


Damn! --has SR been difficult to reverse previously? There are some cultivars that seem to be "silver-proof" LOL Multiple tries by a couple of true fem' wizards I know of were denied... I'm forgetting what they were just now but I recall some were notorious for this.

Speaking of SR, here's the last live pics taken last Sunday night before the storm hit... A bit early but this storm would have made a mess of her this late in the game... ripe enough! Some buds were riper than others over all... But she definitely finished face-first
Her aroma is shifty, but sweet/floral/citrus is dominant... She's at that stage when the buds are gassing off some stank along with water and shrinking, always makes for a hard read s we'll see in a few days where that's at!
She picked up some nice colors at the end, unexpected...? I forget, did yours?

Well done! She can definitely pull on a nice fade. Looks very similar to the last one I grew outdoors a few years back.
Ive had a few plants every now n then that just flat out wouldn't reverse. I dont recall having trouble reversing the last batch of them.

A bit of dry porn at last!

Here are the KS x NL's.... I'm saturated with bud currently of course, smoke testing is still under way but off the cuff, both of them are excellent and quite potent!
Wonderful aroma's as well... The high's are fairly balanced, leaning Sativa-uppy...
It's a tale of two sisters that could not be more different across the board to the eye and nose, bud and plant alike...

Buds are dense, kinda spongy, loaded heavily with glassy trichs; gummy as hell to chop- LOL ... She not as pretty as her sister, her colors muted out after drying, but who cares?

What a year. Almost done completely with the harvest. Everything is trimmed in bags and only about 6 more runs of hash n a bit more rosin to press but this year processed very quickly. Super happy with how this year went.
How's everyone else turning out?

I'm still fussing with last stage "burping" on a few things, trying to figure out a better storage vs. easy access MO... I'm going to try a longer term storage trick this year. Put buds into some sort of small containers and seal them up with minimal air space but not getting compacted, then into the fridge. Storage space is a concern though ...might even slip in oxygen binder packs... This way I can pull out restock as needed w/o repeated exposure to fresh rounds of air/O2...

I need to get more dry porn shots taken too! ...weather hasn't been good for this at times, with high RH% and you know how fast bud at this stage can rehydrate...
Smoke testing is slow too - LOL .... I don't have a lot of prime time hours for this, mainly because of my work schedule. I get home around 12:30am, so am a bit knackered already, not the best circumstances to assess high nuances!

Jean, the Speed Racer turned out great! Not so much that "clean laundry"/floral aroma, it's overpowered by a tangy fuelly + light citrus smell, but it's early in the game and she's one of the ones that's being a bitch about drying out fully - ...definitely good day smoke, her Diesel side showing there -
The MoB/OGK x C99a is fab', so different from past pheno's as expected. A lot of berry + menthol/minty stands out, I smell some of the OGK side of the family too.
Crazian is all Kushy, not a hint of AHz really... that mild sweet/fruity/earthy-hashy side of things, familiar but nice! She's gummy AF to chop up, resin is like half set epoxy ...
Potency/effects are all well above the high bar for them all! ...further testing needed for better specifics but early assessments are a big PASS

Most of the larf is still on the plant, maybe worth a hash run, if I can finish processing what I already chopped. I don't know how @Jean-O manages all that he does, and a day job too.

Maximum effort all day every day! Got 6 kids 2 jobs and a granddaughter on the way in February!

I bought a bunch of those O2 packs too and use them in my jars and bags long term.

They work well and the jars I’ve not put them in see to get that old weed smell and loose terps.
