hey everybody , i have a question . how long does a autoflower plant grow in 50 cl pots , and 1 liter and 2 liter , with 120 w of cfl lighting ? and what are your guess on yield for does different pots , regards eric

Everything varies based on every aspect of the grow. Lighting, strain, medium, conditions, experience etc. I've grown the same strain in 1 gallon, 2 gallon, and 3 gallon pots. There was a difference between the 1 gallon and the others. 2 & 3 gallon not much difference, except the 3 gallon took longer to dry out so there was less opportunity to feed, and correct issues. 2 gallon is the best overall IMO. Though if you're we're growing a particularly large auto 3 would be the way to go.

My advice is to dedicate meaningful time researching on this site if you are interested in autos.

:smokebuds:There really is no good way to judge the grow time and yield of autos.I have had the same strain in the same grow conditions grow to many different sizes.Ther ae to many variables like nutes lights soil temp and many more that make it hard to guess growth and yields. The only thing I can say is usually the bigger the pot the larger the plant and yield will be.Only experiance of growing and learning how autos react to different conditions will give you a better idea of how the plants will perform. You will learn but it will take time, but the reward will be worth it.

sorry for not clearifying what i was thinking of .strain auto hindu kush and medium soil , the pots i was asking for answers is in 0,1gallon and 0,26 gallon and 0,39gallon

Do you mean for seed starting? I'm an American I know nothing of the rest of the worlds measuring system haha. Most people on here use 18oz party cups until sexed 2-3 weeks then switch to a large pot for the rest. For a while I was using 1 liter pop bottles because auto seedlings send down a tap root that will determine height (since they veg for a short time) and those are about the height of my 2 gallon final pot. I switched back to party cups because it's annoying to prep the pop bottles. You have to slit them down the side and around the bottom and tape them together so when it's time to transplant you can break the bottle apart and not damage the roots. I play the odds and now start 10 seedlings at a time and really don't feel like going through all that 10 times.

One more thing, whatever you choose look for something about 30cm tall minimum for your final pot, the height of the container is the most important for autos, search for the tiered method on here, lots of afn members swear by it, though I've not tried it.

Hope that helps, welcome to afn btw.

naah i was thinking of doing a small sog and a lot of em with small pots becouse of height restrictions and have them in the pots from start to finish ,thanks man feels good to be here!

Well in that case the the 1 gallon pot was okay, the plant wasn't as robust as in bigger pots but still decent especially if your going for many plants. I do generations of 3 adults at a time. Still get the tallest you can fit.
