... during the cure ... running out of dark places to dry due to a little higher production and a little higher humidity in the house ... how much light is too much ?
:jaw:

I like mine pitch black but I have seen someone with your problem hang there buds above the lights in the grow room.

non USA resident question.....
if light degrades thc right....why do dispensaries have clear display bottles?

I imagine they use clear jars so that the customers can see the bud ...
Hopefully the bud is sold quickly before too much degradation takes place ... :smokebuds:

I did ask that question in a collective once. They told me the same thing about seeing the bud, and they assured me that they put it in a cooler at night with no lights, and that is how they keep their stuff that is not on display. Because I usually get ounces, my medicine isn't handled very much, and is in a good curing position.

I haven't done this, but I am interested to find out how much more say a few more weeks of cure would do to the product. I am thinking the dispensaries probably just buy the bud, then get rid of it expecting the cure to be already done. But if I am getting rid of it, i am not caring too much how the cure goes, just enough to not taste bad. Not sure about that, don't want to make assumptions to a collectives policies, or a grower's. If they keep the patients in mind first and foremost, then I could see them doing it right as well.

Just sayin'

The better growers take pride in their cure ... Time and proper curing make a world of difference to taste and high ... I grew the bud I'm smoking now ... at one week it was just OK ... now after 3 months this weed is kickin' my ass ...

The less light the better, obviously...

But I've found myself in the same situation. Just keep it out of any direct light...especially HID or sunlight...

As mentioned, a proper dry/cure makes all the difference in the world!

I'm that guy lol! I have a closet that i use for seedlings to get to sex in with 1 4 foot bank of T5's and it doubles as my drying room.I hang the buds above my t5's and just below the exhaust fan/filter,humidity is a little low at 35% in there and they dry in 3 days, from there i jar them in stick them in a dark cupboard for burpin and curin.Haven't noticed any ill effects on potentcy, this last batch was killer stuff even without a good cure.
