Live Stoner Chat how much ph up is too much?

if also suggest if you have to use that many drops stop at your local drug store pick up some medicine syringes for cheap and measure 82 in mL. after 50 drops i know id be ready to dump the whole bottle in! lol not really.

Hey pop its better to ph after adding nutes because once they do get mixed in its going to change your ph and sometimes drasticly. what i do is get my water, mix my nutes wait over night and in the morning i adjust my ph and let it sit for 10-15 min and if its its a steady number i feed.

Lol brooo that's exactly what I need to do, I use 1 gallon jugs and every watering I use 4 of them so I have to sit there and count out 82 drops for each jug haha then when I lose count I go a Lil crazy lmao

I'd hate that! I have syringes around in case I have to flush I will not do the drop method with 6 gallons of water!

Mix in a 5 gallon bucket, then if need be, transfer to the jugs, that way you only mix once

I also use syringes for measuring all my nutes. The local farmers co-op has them in a variety of sizes, all the way up to 100 ml. Farmers use the big ones for hand feeding calves, colts, etc. so they can give measured doses. The big ones are very handy when mixing multiple gallons at a time. The wife is a diabetic so I use her old 2 ml ones for pH up and down. I recently bought one of these in 20 ml. http://www.jefferspet.com/products/sharpvet-feeding-syringes. It was half that price at the co-op. It's long enough to get to the bottom of the 1 liter AN bottles and much better built than the cheaper plastic ones. Even came with an extra O ring and seal.
