Lighting How much power is in my 4x4

I did it at .12 cents but I'm actually .144 cents

.144x18x30= 77. That's one light plus fans, filters, cooling and dehumidifier. I'm happy I run cobs lol my bill is still over 700 a month with all my stuff going on.

The thing I think you would like with cobs is the spectrum is very closer to hps. It's better but closer than cheap blurple leds.

You guys do the trick of pulling 240v and splitting that into 4 110v outlets right?thats how i run my lights..and the only expensive hid light r the old style..u want digital dimmable ballasts..

I hate to sound like that guy but I do have specs on the kind leds. Growmau has a friend who works at the university of Texas who tested a kind in an integrated sphere. I can show the picture if you like. The light came back at 22.5% efficient. That means your plants are seeing 72 par watts.

2 55watts autocobs are 50 par watts and 3 autocobs would be 75 par watts while drawing a lot less.

Plants use light not watts.
The kind is high in watts but low in useable light. It still does well for what it is but the end result is not a 600w hps equivelant.

After doing some research I see you speak the truth. 22.5% efficiency.

Lol I wouldn't make it up. 3 autocobs equals that kind 600. Have you seen the updates on the cob section in the little 4x4 space? They are blowing up

I'm starting to feel rob. I have and am in love with the lights you have...

It's not really my light. Cobs in general are considered to be the best light source available. What I did was come up with a way to make the cob easier to deal with and purchase. No big frame limiting you, or your heights not being individually adjustable. Price is also a big part of it. These singles are more expensive per cob because they are complete lights on their own. But they are the least expensive way to get started since you don't need to purchase a huge light you can now do it slowely.

Trust me I felt the same way when my kind k5 burnt out after 2 weeks time and they screwed me in return shipping. Took months to get my money back.
