For sure. It's around 75-100 per cob once complete. That's driver, wire, holder, thermal paste, cob, connectors, power cord, frame material, nuts and bolts. All those hardware store trips add up plus the time to build it. That's why these big cob light manufacturers do so well. Then the time to figure it all out. That alone takes months unless you use someone to just blast you off a parts list. Yet there are still plenty that will spend the time to do so. I don't have exact numbers on hps but after growing with it for a long time vs growing with cobs is say it's about 1/2 the wattage to equal the same yield. Which is also half the cooling. What I find funny is seeing guys buying 5 dollar seeds because they are cheap when they could get 2-3 times the yield and quality from a 13 dollar seed. It's a big fat waste of 70 days in my eyes.
