Lighting How to dim a hs1 ?

GN are releasing a module so that the HS1 and its replacement in the Telos series can be controlled and dimmed via an app.

@Qupid , as Bunny mentioned we are working on a really low cost bluetooth solution which will work on both the HS1 and the 240v version of the new Telos series. Already we have added features like timing/scheduling so this means you can turn the system ON/OFF (without an AC timer) at set times, dimming sequences at set times can be programmed and you can also set a constant power level. The development has been delayed by the design work and launch of the series of lights but we are hoping to release it before the end of the year.

Regarding the power consumption of the HS1, as sold it is a 75w light at max output however the Xitanium driver/datasheet says 110w max. This maybe achieved under fault conditions or could be something else to do with the 12v AUX output but the driver does not go to that level normally in our configuration. The reason the sticker is marked 110w is because for CE approval we need to mark the full system as the driver is marked.

Thanks guys ! Can't wait for the new units and the dimming features to come... @GrowNorthern would it be safe to say the new unit would out perform 3 hs1 units ? When I see the unit runs 250w but for roughly the same price as the hs1 was at 75w I was blown away, thought the new unit would of been like 7/800 quid with that wattage
