Hi Fellow AFN'ers, i was just wondering if anyone knows how seed companies can tell the difference between femalesand male seeds? Haven't done a great deal of research on it, i usially buy fems anyway, just wondering if anyone could shed any light on the subject. Not even sure if im posting in the right area? God im bored and high :dance:

It's how they are made. Reg seeds are made with a male and female. Fem seeds are 1 reversed female and another female. Read through the breeding section..a lot of good info there.

Most common methods of reversing a female plant are sts and colloidal silver.

By looking at seeds uness you know what they are you can not tell, They make feminized seeds for the sale of fems and the rest are just regulars 50/50 ( a mix of male and female)
