I have a few zips in quart Mason jars that have cured for 2 months now. I recently added Boveda packs to each jar. I burp the jars every few days at this point. I did burp them daily to start.

I'm going on a trip and was wondering how to store them for months at a time.
My first thought was to gently vacuum seal them and put them in the freezer.

Just put them somewhere dark and cool. I wouldn't freeze them. It will make the trichomes brittle and prone to fall off and when you pull a bud out condensation will hit it as it warms to room temp. With the Boveda and two months in, I would just put them away and only open when I needed some. I've kept it up to 13 months in a cVault with a Boveda pack.

I won't be able to burp them for at least 5 months so Boveda and a cool dark place will have to do. Thanks

At about the 3 month point I have a 60gm Boveda 62 in my 2 quart jars and I pull a light vacuum on them .... Just ground up some 14 month old Jock Horror that was as fresh as my recent 2 month old harvest ...

I bought a wide mouth jar vacuum seal attachment from Food Saver. I have a handheld Waring vacuum seal gun. Figured it was worth 10 bucks to see if it worked. It does!!
I'll be storing them in the jars, in the dark, under vacuum, with a Boveda pack.

Can you use a food saver bag an vacuum seal after the dry an curing process? If so how long do you think I can keep it that way and do you think I need a boveda pack?

Yes you can ... the Boveda would not be necessary as long as the bag is kept closed, but it doesn't hurt ... I think if you kept it in a cool place w/ level temperatures it would be good for a year or more ... just be sure that the RH is mid 60s throughout the entire bud and not just dry on the outside ... it generally takes me 2-3 months for buds to be that evenly dry ...

use Boveda 62 packs in green canning jars..keeps yer weed nice and fresh and aged to perfection as long as you keep the packet inside the jars, when the packet dries up ( it will be hard and crunchy like) stick another one in they last quite a long time close to several months..easy peasy..no burping
