New Grower how to test E/C meter?

howdy troops. just had my testing equipment turn up and my E/C meter never came with anything to use for calibration. i checked my ph meter on a bottle of smart water so i know thats good to go but google is letting me down for trying to find household liquids E/C levels so i can check it. got it at 0.6 in ph6 water containing 2ml per litre root boost (20% rec dose) is that about right ? actually, anyone got a bottle of smart water you could check. or even a can of coke or something. probably be a week before i get the fluid so need something to check it against in the meantime. would be greatly appreciated : )

They should be dead on from new mate im sure itll be fine until that stuff comes

i'll find out in a day or so if they die lol. figured they would be just a paranoid chappie. got brand new lights pat tested and wattage checked aswell. just like to stay on the safe. side. falier to prepare is preparing to fail and all that lol

Got spare batteries? Mine seems to give high results when the batteries get low but otherwise I've never checked it other than occasionally checking my water starts at 0.0 and ends up at about 1.6 or so if I mix up fresh full strength nutes.
