judt wanted to introduce myself. This site has been fantastic as I just got into auto growing.

How long are bottled organic nutes good for ?

That's like asking how long a piece of string your holding behind your back. Each manufacturer will probably have its own 'best before' date and shelf life. It will depend on the make up of the nutrients and how they are stored. The two general rules are store in a cool place and out of direct sunlight. Non-organic nutrients may last longer. I wouldn't worry if something is out of date by quite a few months unless perhaps your doing a hydroponic grow using organics (tho I would say that there's no such thing as an organic hydro grow).

Unfortunately there is no production date printed on most of those ferts bottles. The only production code i can see on a bio bizz grow bottle is sth like this BG **-***** (ex. in one bottle i bought recently: BG 15-25007). I use to by nutrients only from big stores that sell a lot, therefore their products dont sit too much on the shelf. But i hate buying from big stores. Bizz as well as all other expensive fertilisers should write clearly the production date on the bottles. But they will not unless growers start demanding it..

What kind of light do you use for that lady up there?

I'm using 4 100watt CFL's with general organically grow and bloom.

This one is stretching quite a bit which I think is good. Last and first time my lowryder mix plant got some mold which I cut away.

i thought of going with cfls in the past (mainly cause of their unique bloom spectrum range) Reasons i didnt, was the high cost of those bulbs and the high consuption (watt/lumen ratio ..the number of watts you have to add with CFLs to get the optimum amount of lumens plants need to give their best). Another disadvantage, is that i was always fighting with high temps in my climate, so i prefered all those ballasts to stay outside the grow space in a cool corner ( mh/hps bulbs can wire their ballasts max. 2m far for MH/ and 20m for HPS bulbs). Regarding the tent, i never regreted buying it. In the first grows without tent, i was spending hours to adjust ventilation flows/temps/humidity/smell/side reflections..etc A big headace. This shit makes growing much much easier

Are your cfl bulbs blue or warm spectrum?
