Lighting HPS for autos

IMO a good dual spectrum HPS is best for autos...from start to finish....these are what I use...but I use the 1000 watters... Hortilux Super HPS Enhanced Spectrum Bulb, 600W ..kinda pricey...but worth every penny!!.....:smokebuds:

Sorta was wondering myself the complete opposite... I have two led tents with flower spec LEDs. The other tent with the HID was running a hps. I use the tent for a couple of autos and the rest vegging clones or moms.
Will I still get ok results running an auto for its whole life under a MH? Was thinking of getting the digilux bulb as it also has a fair share of reds...
Thoughts?

Welcome to the forums
No need for multiple threads with the same question buddy someone will always chime in if they can and if it's been a day with no action - maybe just add another post to it - Something like "i was thinking of this and this" - encourage a bit of action over there

My two cents are - i like sylvania grolux - they have an extended blue spectrum which i could happily use from start to finish (and had pretty good results)

Allrighty, I was SUPER high today, got paid, was at the hydro store and upgraded my gotham hydro Chinese hood with a new one and a new bulb... I'm thinking for a 2.6 x 2.6 tent it might be. Overkill but to me more light is always BETTER... Running at 100% canopy is reaching like 93/94 degrees but the temps with the thermometer on the pot and not at canopy its only 79...
Even at 75% its still like 90 right under the light....
To me putting my hand under the light its not
"Hot"
So should I run at 100%, 75%, or cut it all the way down to 50%?


a 1000w in a 2.6 x 2.6 tent... Don't go to hydro store super stoned....

You could defenetly only grow under mh, but that wil affect bud size. But THE trigs and Terp's wil be quite good,
Just as you dan grow under just hps. Plants wil stretch much more though
