Lighting HS1 sold out

Relax guys. No need for personal attacks.

What is the cost of the 75w version? My thought is this they are 75w stated 43-53% efficient so say 50% that's 37.5 par watts. When comparing to a mars 300 160 x .2 and a far less complete spectrum you get 32 par watts. So it's giving the plants a little more photons than what people consider to be a 300w equivalent. It's a quality light from what I can see but if the price is over 300 dollars I'd say it's over priced for what you get.

They pull 75W out of the wall. It's bullshit advertising a 300W fixture when it only draws a fraction of that.

I agree. This is what got me so deep into efficient lighting.

Okay guys, I'm currently on vacation and a thousand miles away from my IP address. So I'm only here for the short-term. In my profession I can not be seen being involved with growing cannabis. However, I grow high cbd strains with wormwood. I infuse them both together into oil to cure my wife's breast cancer (Success) we still do this for a precaution. My field is radiology and philips produce the best x-ray, Ct scanners and MRI machines on the medical market. I also like the way they research lighting spectrums to produce uvb lights to cure skin disorders. UV lights that helps the body produce vitamin D in the peak of winter and lighting spectrums to ease seasonal blues disorders. I see them for being a humane company with people's health at the forefront of their research. I currently own Dpapillons for winter growing and grownortherns MS006 and one HS1 unit. I love the versatility of each bit of kit. I can upgrade the MS006 with philips rebel upgrades. I can change bulbs in the Dpapillon to suit both stages of grow and I love the way I have the option of altering the HS1 footprint and the philips rebel performance. I'm also a massive fan of GrowNorthern. People say they are overpriced. Well if you would look into the cost of making these machines. You will see it's actually a fair price. I often see grow journals of people hitting about 120 grams from one 75w unit. So within one grow; this light pays for itself. I couldn't buy a mars hydro in the same way I wouldn't buy apple products (humane reasons) they're probably produced in sweat houses where suicide rates are high. Yes, lots of people that work hard to produce apple products in China actually commit suicide.

Well, after owing my MS006 for 2.5 years. I had a module problem. I contacted grownorthern and they fixed it free of charge. I didn't find myself being bounced around from sales departments to after sales departments and all the other roundabout procedures companies put you through in hope you give up and just disappear. I'm not a spokeman for them. In fact I've only seen one man represent them (Dan). They're a small company with a good heart. They are "from the little bits they've publicly revealed" building a unit that will be cheaper. A unit with a larger spread of light that will suit commercial growers. They have also pubicly bowed their head in shame and apologized for false flag release dates. I just don't see the point in corgy still finding the need to continually slate them on every forum that talks about their new units. It just isn't cool. Even on Christmas Day he does it. I think AFN is a great site for the simple reason people respect each other. So I apologize to AFN for stepping out of line. I personally will wait. Only because I'm using a Dpapillon until I go LED in the summers grow frame. Happy Christmas everyone and just enjoy :)

There seems to be some confusion...... Question is WHO is slating WHO, and I'm real chuffed to hear I'm slatingly active on other forums..... Last time I checked I was only a member on AFN, but thrilled to learn I'm getting out and about in the cyber world without lifting a finger...... Please indulge me and let it be known what other forums...... @Electroculture dont be shy, spill the beans if you have any to spill....

Hello guys is there any info about releasing of the HS2 any time soon? Because i have seen new Telos, it is amazing peace of art, but i think that 250W for me would be over kill, atm i am owning 1 HS1 and i would really be happy with another unit which would be like HS1 with low electricity consumption.

As well if someone wants to sell out his used HS1 due upgrading on Telos and dont need the HS1 anymore, i would be happy to buy it! Please contact me in the PM. Thanks

Yeah the HS2's sound the bomb with the dimming. Not getting rid of my HS1's though and hopefully will be running a tent with each of the three generations![emoji7]
