This is a HubbaBubbaHaze my uncle is growing that turned out to be a male! Not even a hermie, but straight up male plant. It’s been pulled to not pollinate the other Mephistos in the tent. Anybody else ever have this happen with a feminized auto?

:eek1: wow, there it is--- the 0.1%er, the Mother Nature Work-Around! ...beyond rare for a full on male... But it can happen!
An even more distant possibility is a freak seed mix-up with a reg' version...

I feel yeah though, a shitty surprise if you're not breeding! He's a nice looking male, but not so sure about the pollen/genetics with such a case? A breeder with solid experience would have to chime in on if the pollen is desirable for breeding....
Reversing and fem'ing can be a funny thing,... a couple I know have found some cultivars are damned difficult to make fem's of, resisting reversal or making very little pollen, often nonviable.

That’s what I was thinking also. He asked me if I wanted it, but not knowing if it’s a mix up with a unknown reg autoflower put me off. Not really trying to hit any of my plants with “mystery pollen” from something that might not actually be HubbaBubbaHaze.

You could store some save some pollen and pollinate a few lower branches, just for the sake of curiosity. There's always a chance something worthy will come out.

It's interesting to think from where did that stray pollen come from. Perhaps "Artisanal" varieties, which Mephisto is currently developing and still at the F1-F2 stage of breeding? Who knows.

That would have been cool, but the plant has been chopped and tossed out. I’m kind of wishing I would have kept it and made some seeds to test out of curiosity, but nothing I can do now...
