I hear you both! 3 is more typical,.... My dilemma is I'm a variety slut! .... I want lots of choices, not lots of yield (per),.... So I grow as many as I dare fit in there, small pot volume, and it tends to be cool at night even with the space heater in there, so that slows their roll a bit too... The tent is outside in a small courtyard under eaves, this is why.... Usually most auto's stay manageable, some LST or supercropping if needed. If not, like the lousy stretchy freak Night Queen last year, and the weird behaving C99a both got kicked outside full time.... I'm chatting with a couple homies known for their mini-monster skills on strategies-
I'm a soil guy, last 2 years using Royal Gold King's Mix and Sanctuary Soil Empire Builder 50/50... KM is great, but very light, dried too fast so I added the EB into it to up water holding some,.. worked great! I use the EB for the OD photo's, been a very solid performer for years now -
Feed last year was MC mainly, switching to Terp Tea Bloom (Roots Organic) mostly during bloom, various supp's as well.... But this year I'm trying the new Prescription Blend 6 part system, which is showing very well so far...

Sour Crack, I have yet to run, ditto on White Crack,... SC I just never got to, but should, she's a champ' year after year for petite size and potent tasty bud! My turn-over is so slow due to being seasonal even with the tent, that strains back-log on me fast meanwhile all the fab' new stuff keeps banging on the door!
I could not say No to Livers bx, or Creeper (SSSC), or HBHz... I risked Orange Bud because it's been barking at me for 2 years, and I want some orangey goodness, dammit! ....Last year the Dinafem Orange Juice (Tangie really) was a total wiff, not even sure it wasn't a labeling/handling fuck-up, it was that far off the mark... Their PAK was a turd as well, never again....

I had a photo Agent Orange that smelled like as offensive as the Orange OZone spray for cars. Like intense Tangerine, was crazy how loud the smell was. Too strong of a smell for a lot of people tbh. I have only done a few Dinafem. Never bought anymore after those few. Not ragging on them, just stating the fact that they took a longer time than expected and not really worth the time vs yield and quality. They were Autos. I prefer Autos that finish 80 days or less. If they go longer, the yield and quality must match the added time. I also do Autos because I am a variariety slut too!? Or is it Variety PIMP? Hahahhaa

Agent Orange was used to make the Lady Sativa OD strains that Mephisto used to make SODK and Orange Diesel. I definitely love me some TGA strains they always had such great flavours I still have some beans Third Dimension, Plush Berry, Ripped Bubba

but yeah if you want orange that TGA Agent Orange is the shizzz but SODK does a bangin job IMO which SODK does best of the Mephisto strains for that straight pungent orange -- perhaps better than the Orange Diesel or Super Orange Haze IME

Of the orange aromatic varieties I've tried/had, AO is hands down the best, one pheno' in particular was unbelievable! Blind testing with friends, some non-smokers with a jar-sniff said "is this orange candy?" :drool:... superb smoke! They also had a Vortex sati'-leaning pheno' that was a destroyer, wicked potent, extremely high psychoactivity, like some sort of Thai or African landrace cruise missile ride type high... this was not offered to certain friends!

ahhhhh yeah Vortex was (in)famous for its power I also had a Chernobyl pheno that delivered wicked strong lime flavour and threw folks for a loop
